Veterinary Surgeon

DVM, PGCertSAM, EMBA, MRCVS

Debo qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 1999, and he worked as a poultry, pig and wildlife vet before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2003.

He has lived in Gloucestershire for 18 years and worked in various practices in the county before establishing Church Road Veterinary Centre. Working as a full-time small animal vet, locum, emergency out of hours vet and in the last three years as a clinical director of a 4-branch practice has further strengthened Debo’s experience as a small animal vet. He holds a postgraduate certificate in small animal medicine and has interest in medical diagnostics, surgery, dentistry etc.

He enjoys spending time with his family and travelling when not working.

Mark started his career in veterinary practice in 2010 and has worked with Dr. Debo Ajao for many years. He is a familiar face to local residents as he grew up in the area.

Outside of work Mark enjoys going for long walks with his family and Zorro his Smooth Collie.

Emma qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in late 2022, having worked in the veterinary field for nearly a decade. She has a particular passion for anaesthesia, medicine, behaviour and patient care.


Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and their two cats, Gus and Margot, whilst also caring for their menagerie of creepy crawlies. She has a keen interest in health and nutrition and loves a good true-crime podcast or paranormal mystery.

Meg is a Registered Veterinary Nurse who graduated from Hartpury University.

Originally from Lincolnshire, she now lives locally with her family, a Dalmatian called Polka and two loan horses. At work, Meg loves building a relationship with patients and has an interest in medicine.

Outside of work, she enjoys countryside walks, riding her horses, and helping to run the local Young Farmers Club.
